Tired of continually adding and updating user data each time you add a new application to your server? With the Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway, you don't have to.

The Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway provides a seamless directory services integration solution for Meeting Maker that simplifies the administration of user data on an LDAP server. It simply pulls data from the LDAP server to populate the Meeting Maker users, resources and locations in the LDAP directory. In addition, it monitors the LDAP server and updates the Meeting Maker server when changes are detected while enabling the LDAP server to add, delete and modify Meeting Maker user data. This drastically reduces the chance of inconsistencies between applications and, with one source for user data and login information, different user names for different applications is a thing of the past.

System Requirements

To use the Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway, you must have an LDAP directory server and at least one Meeting Maker server. You can then install and configure the Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway.

The following system requirements pertain only to the Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway.

Hardware and Software Requirements

You can run the Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway on the following operating systems: Windows, Solaris®, Linux® or Macintosh® OS X.

All operating systems require an LDAP version 2 or 3 Directory Server.

The Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway requires the following hardware and software:

LDAP Directory Server Requirements

The Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway is supported with the following LDAP directory servers: Netscape® / iPlanet® Directory Server version 6 and Openldap 2.1.28

The Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway works with any LDAP version 3 Directory Server.

Setup Requirements

You should set up the Meeting Maker LDAP Gateway on a different machine than your Meeting Maker server if possible.
